JavaScript Frameworks/Libraries

If you want to use a javascript framework or library it must be approved by EGGER. For any approval please contact Sandra.Brandstaetter@egger.com

Blacklist

The following JavaScript are not allowed and you won't get a permission for it:

• React
• Angular

Whitelist

The following frameworks and libraries are approved by EGGER:

• vue.js See guidelines
• vue axios
• vue router
• nuxt.js
• swiper + Binding for Vue 2 vue-awesome-swiper

• jQuery >= 3.6.0

Requesting Approval

If you want to use a library which is not whitelisted or blacklisted you have to ask for permission to use it at Sandra.Brandstaetter@egger.com

We will not approve any library which does not meet the following requirements:

• the library reduces the development time by 40 person hours. (This rule tries to filter libraries, that are not worth the maintenance costs.)
• the library must not use eval() or inject additional <script> elements
• the latest version is not older than 3 month. (This rules tries to filter for actively maintained versions)
• the latest version must have no known vulnerabilities in known databases like snyk.
